  15. Just finished Unseen Motives by Joan Hall. I read and reviews on Amazon. It was a very good read. I gave it 4 stars only because there were some redundancies. Otherwise the story was well-developed, the characters genuine and I kept turning the pages.

  27. Wow – I just read “A Thousand Yesteryears” by Mae Clair – LOVED IT!!! What a fascinating, intriguing, suspenseful, exciting, thrilling story! Full of twists and turns and surprises, and lots of threads that all finally came together and made sense at the end. The characters were all well developed and realistic and believable. I could feel each person’s thoughts and feelings and perspective. Incredibly well written, with many fascinating threads intricately and expertly woven together. Kept me on the edge of my seat – I could not put this book down! I totally believed and loved the mythical Mothman creature in the book – it added so much interest and wonder. Great story! Loved it! I highly recommend this!

  45. A Thousand Years by Mae Clair

You’d think a little town like Point Pleasant, West Virginia would be peaceful if you were just driving through. As Mae Clair writes you get a whole different picture.

Eve, the heroine, arrives in Point Pleasant to settle her Aunt Rosie’s estate. She would like to drive through, but is held back by memories.

The characters are well rounded and rich in details. The plot moves quickly through ups and downs and a lot of interesting local history is woven into the scenes.

Great story, great writing, I was hooked and this is not my usual read.
