BOOK CHAT!

dog with wig

“Hey, ya got a book ya wanna chat about it?  Well, here’s the place to do it! WELCOME TO BOOK CHAT!!!  Don’t go posting in the comments section of all the other places on this site that might incite discussions, that take up too much space;  and those sections weren’t  designed for that anyway…but this one was!   So, here I am, waiting to jump in on any discussion about any book you’d like to get started.  You may start a discussion on any member-author book you’d like.   I know, I know, I don’t look much  like the “chatty” type, but I am!  Now, don’t take too long getting a discussion going, because this wig is kinda itchy, if you know what I mean. Let’s CHAT!”

  1. Good morning. I’m in the throws of reading “Death on the Tyneside” the second in the Agnes Lockhart mysteries by Eileen Thornton. I love cozy mysteries starting from my first readings of Agatha Christie. (yes, I’ve read all of them) So, I’m always looking for a good mysteries. Any other mystery buffs out there?
Eileen does a great job with her characters (Agnes and Alan) and with plotting her murders and how they’re solved.

  2. I have just finished reading “Son of My Father” BOM by Peggy Hattendorf. I enjoyed it, but I figured out the father’s big secret early in the book. Then it was revealed at the end. However, I will also say that a HUGE twist at the end made it resolve in a gratifying way.

    1. I finished this book recently as well. I also knew what the secret was early, but enjoyed the “twist” of circumstances at the end.
