  2. Nonnie, I’m glad you enjoyed the show. The three of us were united in our agreement to do it since we all feel equally enriched having been exposed to your talent and energy. We were very sorry the original show had its problems and were more than happy to be able to have a successful do-over. You deserve every word that was spoken in recognition of what you are giving to the club as well as those in your life. I for one am glad you enjoyed it. I look forward to an energetic 2017. Merry Christmas and Happy New year, Nonnie Jules.

    1. John Howell, your kind words warm my heart. Although I would not have ever asked you all to go thru the trouble of re-doing that show, I am so glad you did…and so glad I had the chance to listen to it LIVE. Sometimes, you need things like this, and you know, I definitely needed that gift. Your kind words lifted me, just when I felt I couldn’t be lifted any higher. Hearts like yours allow hearts like mine to never truly get tired. #YouAllAreTheReason

      Thanks, John H.!!!!

Any person, whether RRBC member or not, who has had contact with Nonnie Jules, knows the truly inspirational woman she is! I’m sorry I couldn’t join the peanut gallery, but my heart was with you the entire show!

  5. As I posted a couple of days ago, I was excited about this show, because the quote that was being profiled was one of Maya Angelou’s. Never in a million years, did I expect to tune in and find that it was a show about me. Today, being the club’s TREAT YOURSELF TO A READ Day, which we have instituted in honor of our late family member, Kathryn C. Treat, I would have expected to hear more about that, or her. But, in true fashion of these three, the surprise was on me, and about me.

I don’t do what I do for accolades, attention or fame. If I did, best believe that all of my books would be bestsellers at this point, because I’d spend my time focused on promoting me ONLY. I do believe that for me to be as successful as I can be, I must help my fellow man to be as equally successful, first.

I don’t sleep at night the way one should, because as John F. mentioned, my brain is restless and ever-focused on how I can get US to the next level…the next program we can create to get our names out there more than we already have. Yes, it’s always US…Never ME. You see, I work on a TEAM every day, and also within the realms of a club that I consider to be my TEAM MATES, as well. There is no “I” in TEAM and what that translates into for me is: TOGETHER “EACH” ACHIEVES MORE. T.E.A.M!

I’m from the South and where I come from, if you say something repeatedly three times, then you truly mean it. Gwen, John H. & John F., from the bottom of the deepest place in my heart, I THANK YOU, i THANK YOU, i THANK YOU! I am humbled by your praise and the faith that you have in me to do more, give more and to be more. I will always do my best to honor that faith and to never disappoint any of you who have put yours in me.

In a year filled with too many personal challenges, in the way of family illnesses in one place or another, closing 2016 out this way, is what my heart needed most. This was truly the most amazing “gift” I could have ever received and I have the TEAM at Aspire To Inspire to thank for my JOY today!!!

To the #RRBC #PeanutGallery, thank you for chiming in!

    MERRY CHRISTMAS, YOU AMAZING FOLKS!!!

    2. Nonnie, I’m so happy you experienced the program as “gift”; for indeed, each of us tried to show how you are a gift to us. 14. So very fitting and inspiring! So many times as a runner I have wanted to stop because it was hard. I believe in mind over body. Our mind is a powerful force and it keels me focused on the end game. My jewel in the mud is knowing I can beat this newest hurdle in my life, knowing I have life after beating the disease that has imposed itself on me. The journey will be tough, but I will remind myself how far I’ve come, what waits for me at the end, and look to my large cheering squad to keep me going. Thank you for dedicating this to me today.

  15. John, you and your co-hosts deliver the best commentary! I am so enjoying listening to your individual “takes” on the one bit of inspiration you share! These conversations cause us all to stop and take a closer look within ourselves. That’s what it does for me, and I am POSITIVE that’s what it’s doing for others, so I can’t thank you and your AspireToInspire Team, enough! You guys were great…ONCE AGAIN!

  20. Wow! What an inspiring show. I enjoyed it immensely. Thank you. Still inspired and it’s almost 3 a.m. here. I need to wind down and get some sleep. After the show I did some self-promoting and promoting others. From their I answered a few blog guest questions. Have done three of these in the last week, getting ready for a new release in July. Those always take me forever because I’m never satisfied with what I type. Then I edited a piece for my own blog thatI wrote last week, then posted it. I wrote a little essay type piece about my feelings that I may post on my blog one day. It’s according to how I feel about it later or it may stay in my diary for no other eyes to see. So, yeah, I was really inspired the rest of the day. Tomorrow I plan to write more on my book and update a client’s Web site. Again thank you for inspiring me.
