Hi, I’m Ron Yates, an author of historical fiction and action/adventure novels. Before turning to historical fiction, I was a foreign correspondent for the Chicago Tribune and Professor of Journalism at the University of Illinois where I was also the Dean of the College of Media. The books in my “Finding Billy Battles” trilogy have won multiple awards, including the Grand Prize in Rave Reviews Book Club’s KCT International Literary Award.
