I just finished and reviewed Son of the Serpent by Vashti Quiroz-Vega. Wow! I never read a story where the protagonist and antagonists are both demonic. Fascinating how she blended the tale with ancient religious tales like the Great Flood. Very well written, if you don’t mind the gore.

My review of This Second Chance, by D.L. Finn
The supernatural meets the mortal in this tale of redemption. When Rachael marries Tony, she believes that life will only get better for her and her two children, but nothing could be further from the truth. Something doesn’t want them to ‘live happily ever after’, in fact, it doesn’t want them to live at all.
D.L. Finn does an excellent job of delving into some of our deepest fears and greatest hopes. At several points in the story, I found myself stuck at the crossroads between sympathy and contempt for some of the antagonists. To me, this is the mark of well-rounded characters.
